Quick answers
Getting started
Highlight any word on any webpage, right-click it, and choose "Pronouncey: Show pronunciation". A player opens right on the page with real video clips of native speakers saying that word. You can also search words directly from the extension popup.
Switching accents
Open the extension popup and pick your target accent — American, British, Australian, Canadian, Irish, Scottish, or New Zealand English. Your choice sticks until you change it.
Finding past words
Every word you look up is saved to the History tab in the extension popup. It's stored locally in your browser, so it's private to you — clearing your browser data clears it too.
Player not showing up?
Make sure the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions and reload the page you're on. Some special pages (like the Chrome Web Store or chrome:// pages) don't allow extensions to run — that's a Chrome restriction, not a bug.
